Nikko Hendi is a Landscape Photographer based out of Southern California.  He started his professional career as an Architect and Lighting Designer, while mastering his photography passion.  His Journey as a photographer started with Black & White on film with a strong emphasis on street, architecture and city scapes. In 2008 he transitioned into Digital Photography and his love for Landscape Photography grew. For the past 10 years, he has mastered and refined his unique techniques to capture breathtaking Seascapes.  In each piece he capture’s ocean’s dance and the fierce beauty of storms.

Both of his professions in Architectural and Lighting Design had a noticeable influence on his work as a Seascape Photographer; his understanding of light and its movement in space has been the dominant influence of his photography style, rendering a still movement and capturing the symphony nature’s elements create.  

With patience, and tenacity while taking on the ocean’s fierce power, he has been able to capture moments of beauty that are often unnoticed.  At a specific moment when nature’s elements come together and create an unforgettable symphony, the Ocean’s Dance.   His images embody the soul of The Symphony, in a way for the audience to be able to feel the energy of scene deep within them. 

In addition to his photography work, he also shares his passion for photography by providing one on one workshops to other that share the same passion for Seascape Photography.  Teaching ocean safety, seascape techniques and processing.
